Hi, lovely to meet you! Believe it or not this isn’t the first time I’ve written an About Me page, you’d think I’d know what to do.
Writing doesn’t come naturally to me but I like sharing stories so here I am. I love running although I’m definitely not a natural at that either, to be honest, daily adult life is typically beyond my capabilities, however, my bad runs, lifestyle disasters and social blunders often seem to make semi-funny reading, I mean I crack myself up but I’m not really sure that’s how comedy works?!
I love love love this because it’s so true! So many people have an idea or opinion about what you should be doing, where you should be, etc but all that really matters is that you are where you want to be and I personally thinks our 20s are for figuring out where the place is 🙂

Hello! Thanks for following my blog! I like how honest your “About Me” page is. I think an age is just a number- I like to think I’ll be happy, hyper and youthful even at 85! But I totally feel you on not knowing quite what you want in life. Yet at least. But tons of people are in that boat 🙂 Me included! It’s all about enjoying being in the present and where you are in life on your way to something bigger. Cheers!

I agree, there is so much to be done before settling down! Love what I’ve seen of your blog, look forward to following.

Wow….we really all twins. My mom and dad both use the phrase “biological clock” waaaaay too much for my liking. As if I didn’t already know! And in terms of a career? Pfff. Who knows.

Love your reality! Don’t get caught up in keeping with everyone else’s pace… do your own thing. And take it from someone who ignored her heart and settled for a different path, only to revisit 20 years later… I wouldn’t trade it for anything, but I also wish I would have done things the way I wanted, instead of being scared of the dreaded single life. You have time… take it and things will work out!

You are just 22 and you are facing marriage pressure? Oh god, which country are you from? Don’t give into the pressure that everyone around you is married and your parents want you to be happily settled, it’s all different to each of us. Some wants to marry and have kids early and some girls are just a bit wild and need to stay single (or in a relationship) but not marry and find more about themselves before they commit themselves for marriage and all the responsibilities that come with it…
Being single has it’s own perks! haha
PS: It’s awesome being 22, isn’t it?

Oh sorry no, I’m 32, I just read my About page back and realised I maybe wasn’t very clear on my age!!
But I agree with you at any age, we feel pressured to do what society expects that we sometimes believe it’s what WE want ourselves. xo

haha 22 or 32 if you don’t feel like settling down then maybe you shouldn’t. You look beautiful in the white dress, I take it you are now settled?
haha what you said I feel like putting it in an article.

Hi Angela, thanks for the follow. I look forward to following yours as well.
22, you are young! I can’t believe you have friends that are already married and have kids at that age! I’m 34 and I still feel like I’m in my 20s. Aging is all about perspective. I’m having more fun than ever traveling the world at this age than I did in my 20s working on my career. Even though I’m married, we are not having kids. We love to do whatever we want, whenever we want. For me, traveling right now is seriously my addiction, and I don’t intend to ever stop. Your life can be however you want it to be, so live how you want and don’t live by society’s or anyone else’s standards. Enjoy life to the fullest and embrace aging!

It’s so funny when I wrote this I felt like I was the only person who thought this, turns out most people feel the same even ALL my friends who are married, have kids and seem to have it all figured out! I guess we’re all in this together!
Here’s to more figuring it out in 2017!!!

I am 36 and I am still figuring out things. If you are not then how are you even alive to the possibilities out there. It is always the hope of something better that keeps us growing, isn’t it? Cheers.

Hello Angela 🙂
I saw that you practice yoga and meditation. With the stress and so many things happening around us, it’s hard to find a balance and embrace the moment. For me, the thing that centers me the most is good music, so I would like to share some with you in the hopes it will help you find your inner peace: https://soundcloud.com/xumbalu/sets/sounds-of-gouni-the-journey-pt-1
This truly isn’t just for the sake of promotion, but being involved in the process of sharing the “zen” we all need in our life. With that said, it would really mean a lot to hear your thoughts about our sound and to help us achieve our mission by sharing this link.
Also, for any questions, feel free to contact me on ivana@xumbalu.de
P.S. Good luck with your life list! 🙂
Kind regards
